Christos Mitrentses Vice President B’

Mr. Christos Mitrentses was born in the small town of Alistrati near the city of Serres on 20th March, 1946. He is married and has 2 children.

He has a Greek University degree from the Graduate School of Industrial Studies and from the School of Mathematics and Physics. He was also awarded a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia and from Kingston University.

Between 1973-1988 he was a professor in private schools.

From 1989 to 1993 he served as a member of the Management Board of the Bank of Macedonia-Thrace.

From 1982 to 2004, as General Manager, he directed the Thessaloniki Headquarters of the Greek Postal Savings Bank and was also a member of the credit card issue Board. Mr Mitrentses composed a study on the issuance of credit cards for the National Bank of Greece and has been the driving force behind the development of the Greek Postal Savings Bank Branch Network, under a Customer-Centric framework.

Since 2004, he is Vice President B’ of the Greek Postal Savings Bank.
