Safe deposit boxes

Continuing a long tradition of safekeeping important documents and highly valuable objects, the Greek Postal Savings Bank provides:

• 2850 safe deposit boxes in its Headquarters (2-6 Pesmazoglou Str., Athens)
• 1530 safe deposit boxes in the Piraeus Central Branch (122 Alkiviadou Str., Piraeus) for valuables’ protection.

Permission for renting a box is given to adults, as well as to legal entities.

Agreement on safe deposit box rental

When the customer’s application is submitted and approved, the safe deposit box rental agreement is signed according to the Greek Postal Savings Bank management board’s regulations.

• The duration of the safe deposit box rental is set for 1 year
• A €30 deposit is paid in advance for all kinds of safe deposit boxes

The boxes’ rental prices are determined as follows:

Box usage is only allowed during the Greek Postal Savings Bank Safe Deposit Box Departments working hours (Mon-Fri, from 07.30 to 14.00).
