Student Loans - Required documents

The documents required for the student loans issue are the following:

For parent applicant / guarantor :

  • Last income tax return
  • Wage/pension certificate
  • Identity card
  • A photocopy of E9 property statement (in case of ownership-occupancy).

For student applicant :

A studies certificate, where accordingly is mentioned:

  • For Elementary, Junior-High and High Schools students, as well as for First and Second Grade Private School students, a certificate of attendance at school courses.
  • For first-year University or Private College students, a registration certificate from the School’s Registry or a certificate by the student’s High School confirming his/hers successful completion of the university entrance examination.
  • For current public university students, a valid student card.
  • Additionally for Private College students, a certificate by their College confirming that courses have a minimum 3 year duration. This certificate is not required for students of the following 3-year course Private Colleges:
    • Deree
    • La Verne
    • BCA
    • SouthEastern
    • University of Indianapolis
    • Anatolia College
    • American College Thessaloniki
    • N.Y. College
    • SBS
    • Mediterranean

Notes

  • For students in Greece or abroad who cannot be present when applying , the application will be signed and the amount will be collected by the parent / guarantor.
  • For students abroad, there is no official translation required for student’s admission or certificate of registration in the University. The document’s copy in the foreign language is sufficient.
