Instructions on the secure use of the ATMs

No queues, no pressure, but not carelessly!

Thousands of ATMs all over Greece and millions all over the world are available for you 24 hours per day, 365 days per year! By using the ATMs you take advantage of your spare time and avoid the queues, but anyway you have to be careful too.

Important notice:

1. Never keep your personal number (PIN) with your card!
2. Cover your PIN while keying it!
3. Be certain that your PIN is not known to anybody, otherwise please ask us to send you a new PIN or just change it immediately. You have this opportunity through the ATM screens.
4. Create your own PIN through the ATM, but remember that easy-to-guess numbers should be avoided (e.g. your date of birth, your car number etc).
5. PIN number is strictly personal. Never make it known to people pretending to be bank officers, as well as even to the Authorities, or your relatives.
6. Check your account balance and transactions on a regular basis and let the Greek Postal Savings Bank know of anything suspect or unusual.
7. Never trust any unknown people who will be offered to help you in case you have any kind of problem to your transaction. Contact us only through the phone numbers we provide you, or through the numbers you see on the ATM screens.
