30 November, 2005Greek Postal Savings Bank reduces Home Loans fixed interest rates by up to 0,73%The Greek Postal Savings Bank is reducing the Home Loans’ fixed interest rates up until 0,73 units, continuing its social contribution and successful performance in the field of Home Credit.
The Organization’s Management proceeded to this important decision, aiming at protecting its cliental base from the expected increases of the interest rates determined by the European Central Bank (E.C.B.)
These reduced interest rates, valid from 1st December 2005, are the following:
Fixed for 1 year: 3,18%
Fixed for 3 years: 4,50%
Fixed for 5 years: 4,75%
Fixed for 10 years: 5,25%
Fixed for 15 years: 5,50%
The 0,12% charge by L.128 is not included to the above interest rates.
Additionally it’s determined that, after the initial period with fixed interest rate (e.g. 15 years) ends, the client can make his / her own free choices, by choosing either the fixed or the floating interest rate of that certain period without any charge.
Greek Postal Savings Bank customers are keeping on enjoying the market’s lowest monthly instalments for their Home Loan (e.g. for a €100.000 loan, monthly payment is €275, if interests only are paid, or €375 if interests and funds are paid altogether).
