New lower interest rates and special offers on home loans

The Greek Postal Savings Bank continues to make its successful progress in the Home Loan Sector. Despite the fact that we are currently in a period during which the European Central Bank (ECB) is raising its key interest rate, the Greek Postal Savings Bank today announces new lower interest rates and special offers on Home Loans. Starting from 05/03 to 30/04/2007 the Bank will offer new Home Loan programmes and offers:

• «FIXED EXTRA» with a subsidised interest which is 2,95%* for the first year with a fixed interest only instalment for the first year of 255,80 Euros (on a 100.,000 Euro loan) or a fixed interest and capital repayment instalment of 362 Euros for the first year (over a 40-year loan) with a minimum 5-year maintenance of the loan. After the first year the interest rate will be adjustable with a 0,70% margin for a loan covering 100% of the value of a property. After the first 5 years the borrower is free to select, if he chooses, any other type of interest rate.
• «IT’S MINE 100» with an adjustable interest rate based on the E.C.B., with a fixed interest margin of 0,70% for the entire duration of the loan, with the capacity, at any given moment, to convert to a fixed interest rate.
• For refinancing transfers of home loans from other Banks, in the above products, we offer the capability to pay the first instalment after 12 months.
• Home Repair Loans we also provide the capacity to choose a fixed interest rate for 1 up to 5 years, ranging from 4,65% to 5,15%*.

It should be noted that anyone borrowing from the Greek Postal Savings Bank continues to have the capacity to choose from one of the lowest fixed interest rates in the market, for 1 year 3,95%*; 3 years 4,25%*; 5 years 4,45%*; 10 years 5%*; and 15 years 5,35%*, all of which are in effect for 100% financing.
