The Greek Postal Savings Bank at the 2007 Thessaloniki International Fair

Terms and conditions for participating in the competition

1. Purpose of the competition

This present competition, taking place within the framework and on the occasion of the 2007 Thessaloniki International Fair (henceforward known for reasons of brevity as “TIF”) and will be completed by a draw and an award of those gifts mentioned herein below, has as its aim and is being carried out to ascertain the opinions of the consumer public and to inform said public about the products and services offered by the Greek Postal Savings Bank (henceforward for reasons of brevity “GPSB”), as well as serving the purposes of giving back to society, acquiring statistics, improving products and services offered and generally in order to promote GPSB products , in accordance with the following terms.

2. Competition publication

The present terms for participating in the competition and draw have been submitted to Thessaloniki notary public Mr. Nikolaos Naslas, at No. 15, Mitropoleos Street, Thessaloniki, post code 54624 and were published on the GPSB website on the internet, whose address is www.ttbank.gr. GPSB maintains the right to shorten, extend, delay and/or repeat the competition and or the draw, as well as to amend any of the terms of this competition, even to changing the gifts and replacing these with others, following an announcement of the above on the GPSB web site, at the latest fifteen (15) days before the draw, while at the same time submitting the corresponding document to the same notary public as above.

3. Conditions, right to participate and way to participate - Participant Qualifications

4. Prohibited from participating

Employees, consultants, collaborators and executives of GPSB are prohibited from participating in the competition and drawer, along with GPSB lawyers, the notary public who will supervise the draw, the advertising companies that will prepare the communications material for GPSB about which there will be questions in the competition, as well as the electronic support company with the name CYBER TECHNICS LTD, all members of the Boards of Directors, representatives, members and employees of these companies, as well as relatives of up to the first degree of all the above. Every competition participant can make only one (1) entry in the competition by completing a single questionnaire and may become a winner only once and for only a single gift from the draw. Should there be multiple entries, only the first entry will be taken into account.

5. Τρόπος κλήρωσης

The draw will be carried out electronically using an appropriate computer programme. Initially all participant data will be collected in an electronic data base. This will be followed by a process removing all double entries and finally those that remain will be entered into the software for carrying out the draw. The electronic draw will include the following general stages:

• Random selection of a code number
• Corresponding gifts and codes with the participants
• Deletion of the winning code number
• Repetition of function until completion
• Appearance of winners onscreen
• Completion of draw
• Relinquishing data and results in the form of an electronic file.

6. Duration of competition

The competition and consequently the electronic filling out of the questionnaire will last from 10:00 on September 8th to 22:00 on September 16th, during the operating hours of TIF and the GPSB stand (Outdoor space B12, Stand:02 & Stand:02A).

7. Gifts

The gifts will be drawn in order, from smallest to largest in value, and will total the following amounts in Euros, which will be deposited in corresponding GPSB savings account passbooks issued in the name of each winner:

All legal taxes, duties or other expenses due in order to receive the gifts are the sole responsibility of the winners.

8. Place and time of draw

The draw will take place on a computer at the Thessaloniki central branch of GPSB, at 14 Aristotelous Street, on Monday 17th September 2007 at 10:00, in the presence and under the supervision of Thessaloniki notary public Mr. Nikolaos Naslas, to whom the terms of entry in the competition have been submitted, or to his legal replacement, assisted by a specialist computer user, as well as in the presence of any participant who wishes to be there. GPSB maintains the right to postpone or repeat the draw, should the persons necessary to carry out the draw have some impediment, or due to a serious technical problem.

9. Announcement / publication of the results of the draw

The names of the draw winners will be posted at all GPSB branches and will be published on the GPSB website at www.ttbank.gr

10. Delivery of gifts

Winners can receive their gifts (passbooks with the corresponding amounts) at the GPSB branch that each participant has declared on the competition entry form. Winners who have not appeared within a reasonable length of time will be informed of their gift and the gift receiving process by telephone or e-mail, as long as they have declared an e-mail address. Should one of the winners not have access to a GPSB branch, then GPSB will take the steps necessary to ensure that such individuals receive their gifts. If after two (2) months have passed from the date of the draw and a winner entitled to a gift has not appeared or is not found, or does not accept the gift provided or renounces said gift, or after the fact chooses to remove his consent or renege on any term or terms of the competition mentioned herein, then the gift conferment to this winner is annulled.

Gifts are by name only, cannot be transferred and are delivered only to the winner, upon display of that winner's police identity card or any equivalent document (e.g. passport etc.). However, any winners who cannot personally take receipt of their gift may provide authorisation to another individual by document, whereupon the validity of the signature of the person providing the authorisation is verified and attested by a competent Authority or Power.

11. Accepting the terms of the competition / Consent / Personal data

Interested participants complete the questionnaire and participate in the present competition and the draw for the prizes and prize acceptance through their free and clear will and this constitutes their explicit and unqualified consent for the use of their name and the rest of their personal data by GPSB for the purposes mentioned under the first term herein above. Winners can maintain no claim against GPSB for this purpose and are entitled to no reward or compensation. Moreover, participation in the competition and draw signifies unqualified acceptance of all the terms of the present and their prior consent to the receipt, (automated) processing using a computer and maintenance of their personal data, with the present also acting as the information document for this purpose.

No data will be conveyed or forwarded to third parties who are not relevant to fulfilling the purposes of article 1. Response to question is not obligatory, but those who choose to respond have the right to access and object, in accordance to articles 12 and 13 of Law 2472/1997, as in effect following its amendment by Laws 2623/1998, 2703/1999, 2819/2000, 2915/2001, 3051/2002, 3090/2002 and 3156/2003, in combination with Regulatory Act 1/1999 of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. Participants in the competition and draw consent and accede to the collection, processing and maintenance of their personal details, which constitute personal data, to take place exclusively by GPSB or by specially-authorised collaborators thereof, whether individuals or legal entities, on the basis of Law 2472/1997, as in effect.

Consequently access to personal data that will be gathered by the present competition will be provided to the Marketing Department and the Press, Public Relations & Advertising Sub-departments of GPSB. Access to the data base containing the aforementioned personal data will be password protected, or protected by some other suitable and secure means. In each instance that GPSB, for the purposes mentioned in article 1 herein above, assigns the use or processing of the aforementioned data to a third party that specialises in producing the required work that will lead to these goals, the assignment contract will include terms that will protect participants and guarantee that the terms of the present document are kept.

Any participant has the right to request that GPSB at any time, and at no cost, verify, amend or delete certain or all of his or her data which are maintained in a record in accordance with the above, in accordance with the provisions of Law 2472/1997, as in effect, by sending a message to GPSB either in writing to the Sub-department of Press, Public Relations & Advertising, fax: 210 3704580, or electronically, through the electronic customer service system at www.ttbank.gr. GPSB maintains the right to search for or communicate with the applicant to certify that person’s identity. In such an instance the interested party’s data will be amended or deleted respectively, within ten (10) working days from the date that their identity is certified. Personal data will only be revealed in instances required by law.
